Photos

Have another attempt and this time the login and password worked. I suspect my keyboard does not work properly sometimes.

I uploaded 5 photos on Chinese garden windows. The url is:

Flickr

I creat a Yahoo account for this purpose, but have trouble to sign in afterwards. I don't think I will bother to create another one. I give too many personal details on the web recently by signing up with Google, facebook, reunion.com, Yahoo, etc. and start getting junk mails.

It is good for me to learn about Flickr. I heard of it, but never look it up. This course gives me opportunity to explore the site. The image uploaded by the Library of Congress are great. It is a clever way to promote library services and collections. I wonder what is the advantage in using Flickr than their own Website (if the Website suports Web2.0 functions).

"Mesh-ups" looks fun. I can see journalists love to use it to make up things. Since my account is not working, I have not been able to try it out myself. I assume it is time consuming.

New template

Have just changed my template to a simple one, at least the colour is better. Hopefully it will not shock my colleagues that follow this blog.

Getting there

Finally, I sign in to my own blog to post comments now. I was silly. I couldn't find a way to post anything on my blog because I didn't even login in.

I miss the class learning environment which you can ask questions or get other people to show you how to do things on the spot. Online learning is flexible, but can be frustrated at times. This learning experience will help me in understanding students in an online learning environment.

Whinging

It took me forever to find an acceptable password and blog address when setting the blog. I doubt I will remember my password or my own blog name after put in so many different combinations. Why can't I use whatever I want even it is low security? Now the security is so high that the ower does not even remember anymore. I wonder whether anyone else feel frustrated by too many passwords in their life.
